TARDIS Tuesday- Clara from Dark Water
Hi there! I hope all is well with you. Did you hear about the awful chopping down of the tree on Hadrian's wall in a spot known as Sycamore Gap? A beautiful 300-year old tree that has delighted many for years, been the inspiration for countless artists and has sheltered many over the years. It was brutally sawn down with a chainsaw on Wednesday night. I've walked that stretch of the Roman Wall from the Sill to Housesteads many times over the last 15 years and it is really sad that it is no more. I wonder if we will find out why it happened in time? It's just so sad and pointless! I am glad that I made CBC drive me there for a walk in July to walk that stretch even...
