The Blue Girl
This week’s SIA inspiration, the “Blue Girl” illustration by Denise Holly Hobbie, is a bit of a challenge for me. I don’t really have a lot of floral prints, and definitely nothing with this Little House on the Prairie vibe. After some thinking, I went with this printed top and this skirt, since they are the two most cottagecore pieces in my closet. I would’ve worn my lace-up boots if it had been cooler, but as it is still boiling hot, I went with my oxford heels as the next best thing. As an outfit, I’m not too thrilled about it (the pattern mixing is all over the place), but as an SIA outfit, I’m very happy with it....
