Turning Turtle
Here’s my outfit for this week’s SIA, inspired by Susan Musgrove’s quilt, “Race for the Moon”. It’s pretty self-explanatory – the black top with its big mother-of-pearl buttons represents the night sky and the moon, the culottes and shoes are the sand, the belt is the strip of the sea, and the turtle brooch is… the turtles. No fuss. I was tempted to add my other turtle brooch too, but I decided one is enough.
