Stealth Pattern Mixing
Sometimes, when I’m feeling lazy but still want an interesting outfit, I’ll do what I call “stealth” pattern mixing, which means one of the patterns is very subtle/basic (I’m talking like small stripes or small polka dots) so it almost doesn’t look like pattern mixing. The print on this blouse is not that subtle, but the color matches the plaid pretty well, so it still works. Or at least it works better than the last time I wore this skirt, and that outfit didn’t even have any pattern mixing.
