The Six Year old Skirt
Looking back over the blog, I wore this old Lola skirt four times last year. Every time I wear it I ask myself, why am I not reaching for it more often? It's such a high quality piece; thick cotton, lined, has pockets, looks as good as new (purchased in 2017 and I do wear it a few times every single year). Compared to some other items in my wardrobe, this one does spark real joy so note to self: bring Lola out for a spin more often! Might also be time for a bit of a wardrobe clear out too, there are a few items I've held on to as I've gotten older and slightly thicker around the middle that just don't quite sit right any longer. Perhaps someone else could give them...
