Parenting all Parentish
You know what I’ve realized about parenting? I hate when my kid makes me parent.
Let me explain what I mean by that. I hate when she goes against the rules, does something she know she’s not allowed to – then I have to be all parent-ish and have serious talks and impose consequences. Ugh, I now realize that parents do not enjoy this part of parenting. It sucks. Luckily, she’s pretty awesome and it doesn’t happen often, but still, sucks.
