Full of the Joys!
Yesterday I met two friends for a lunchtime run - this in itself is not breaking news but it was sunny and warm, 12 degrees in fact. Steve had debated putting on his 'short' shorts, Paul turned up in a coat and promptly had to remove it and I rolled up my sleeves. Feeling the warm sunshine on my skin was such a welcome treat, it felt wonderful and as we ran, chatting about races, the weather, the kids etc, I truly felt like a new woman. Full of the joys of spring if you will. I touched a few months ago on SAD and suspecting I was trapped in its grip but yesterday made me realise what a low ebb I'd actually reached this past winter.
