Dress Like You Might Have to Walk
I know I wear a lot of impractical things, but never doubt that beneath all the sequins and puffs, there is a level headed farm girl to the core. No matter where I am going or what time of year it is, I always bring along the kind of clothes I would need should I have to walk home. Maybe that sounds silly, but it's a lesson I learned the hardest way possible when I was a very little girl on a day much like this.
