Fear
Fear is a powerful thing. It’s something that takes hold and doesn’t let go. And I believe that secrecy fuels fear.
So here it is, my stupid vain fear: I fear that the scar I’ll have on my neck after surgery will make me ugly. I fear that it’ll make people not want to cast me. I fear that I will be judged for it. And I fear that it will be all that people see.
