Some Good News
Last Thursday my alarm went off at 6am but it was dark and raining. I reset it for 6:30am and snuggled back down with the cat - only to find the rain was torrential half an hour later and the idea of running 20 miles in it was decidedly unappealing! I got up anyway and started all the chores I had planned to do post-run whilst I waited for the rain to stop. By 11am it was still raining really hard and I had to wait for a call from a member of the surgical team at the hospital so the run was on ice. When my appendix burst back in March, I had a CT scan which revealed I also had two very large cysts on my liver. One is 10x12cm which sounds massive to me! I had an MRI...
