Then The Rain Came
On our last full day in Fyé, after days and days of scorching hot weather, it rained. A lot. Not wanting to be trapped in the house we grabbed the waterproofs I'd reluctantly packed and headed west to Saint-Léonard-des-Bois. Joe had spotted La Cave à Bière on Google maps, about a twenty minute drive away. It's on the River Sarthe, there was plenty of free parking, restaurants and a panoramic lookout area so definitely worth a visit in the rain! It reminded me of the Lake District or Wales and Felix absolutely loved playing on the rocks in the river, moving them around to make dams / waterfalls, skimming stones and spotting fish jumping out of...
