Corset Top on a Curvy Body
You got a sneak peek of this outfit if you read last week’s post ! When I saw this top at Nordstrom, I fell in love with the colorful pattern. I took it off the rack and saw that it was a corset style, with boning and a lace up bodice. Could I wear a corset top on a curvy body? Would it be flattering, or would it look like I squeezed myself into something made for someone smaller? I honestly wasn’t sure, but I decided to try it on. It’s definitely form-fitting, but I think the neckline and the shape of the top actually compliment my curves. Because of where it hit me, I opted for mid-rise shorts instead of my usual high-rise.
