While tourists and locals alike flock to Central Park in the springtime to catch a glimpse of the cherry blossoms, they often overlook a hidden gem just a few blocks away. Riverside Park is so underrated and is one of New York City’s best kept secrets! Not only can you find rows and rows of beautiful cherry blossoms and tulips, but also you’re bound to come across friendly puppies who are guaranteed to make you smile. As a resident of the Upper West Side, I’m lucky to have access to both parks just a short walk away. Riverside Park has been one of my favorite places to go on a walk after work and clear my head.
