Is it Still There?
Regardless of what our plans were, at some point every day we make it a point to go to the lake to make sure it’s still there.
After helping my Babcia get some harvest from her garden, the ‘checking in to make sure the lake is there’ is our little excuse to get out and walk.
Even when it’s cold, and raining, and we can’t swim. It’s just a pretty walk, and a chance to breathe and usually have some laughs.
