Sunny Saturday (Casual Style)
Last Saturday I ran my 354th parkrun with Felix who ran his 18th 'big parkrun'. We've not been to the 2km junior parkuns since they started up again post-Covid but we still refer to the 5km one as 'big parkrun'. He had very specifically requested a sausage and egg McMuffin post-run so I had to remind him in the last kilometre when he was dilly-dallying, wandering off course to kick sticks etc that if he didn't hurry up they would stop serving.... A mean trick as it was only about 9:30am at that point! I can't promise him a McDonald's breakfast every week so I'm hoping that now I can motivate him with the idea of earning his '25' runs tee.
