I spent a blissful three day weekend that beats nearly any vacation I've ever taken and every workday I've ever had. I didn't spend much of it resting though. I spent nearly every moment working in the dirt until my muscles ached. There are a lot of things that need to be done on a farm, even a hobby farm like ours. The trouble is that our work/school schedules heavily compete with it. So, on the long weekend, we switched off our phones and decided to just tuck in and get the work done and doing so was more rewarding than any amount of time spent behind a desk or in front of a screen.
