I never ever think to look at my blog stats anymore. Years ago when I first started blogging, the weekly / monthly statistics were fascinating and I remember being amazed when I reached 100,000 hits. When we were all blogging and linking up etc it was an easy way to reach other readers and an easy way to also find other blogs to read. Slowly but surely with the advent of Instagram bloggers, actual blogs seemed to die a death but every now and then I cast a look around for some new people to follow, or indeed some old ones to go back to.
