Two Dollar Silk Shorts
beret: gift from friend! blazer: via thrift blouse: 1960's vintage via Etsy shorts: via thrift clog heels: Steve Madden I found these purple silk shorts in a thrift store a few years ago. As I was modeling them for myself in the change-room mirror, I hemmed and hawed over if they were worth the asking price. Eggplant? Not really my colour. Silk? A nice fabric. High waist? Always. Hands tucked in my pockets, I swiveled from side to side until my fingers came into contact with - what? A two dollar coin! The shorts almost paid for themselves. Amazing. Thanks, generous donor! I love wearing high-waisted shorts and blazers together - with an almost boys' prep school vibe....
