sand & seagulls
I love being able to come down by the lake more often now that summer is over and people aren't almost constantly there. I love the waves and the way that gently roll up onto the sand. I love the seagulls sitting on the docks and watching them fly up above the water and swoop down again. I love the cold wind that turns my nose red and blows my hair into my face. I love the grey clouds that turn the water a darker hue. I love the sand as it shifts below my feet and holds my footprints when it's wet. It's suddenly turned so chilly out, and the leaves...
