Easter Sunday : New Easter Bonnet 8 Am: It's Easter Sunday, and I'm getting ready for brunch. I even have a new Easter Bonnet for the occasion! Easter Bonnets have a long standing tradition along with wearing something new for Easter. It actually Originated in Great Britain. It's been mentioned in text throughout history, like in the18th century when it was mentioned in the Poor Robin Almanac :" At Easter let your clothes be new or else be sure you will it rue ". And even a brief mention in Romeo and Juliet...
