I’ve always thought myself to be rather independent emotionally, perhaps as a result of my upbringing.
But I was surprised by how much I missed my family and really just wanted to be with them. I know that sentiment might seem obvious, but to me, someone who has always considered herself a loner it came as a bit of a shock.
Seems they’ve infected me worse than the Rona ever did.
What a nice surprise.
