Taking the Wild Out of the Flowers
Last time I wore this dress to work I had the feeling I pushed the envelope a bit too far judging by my boss's raised eyebrow. I'm an assistant at a financial firm and I guess a maxi dress with wildflowers and a wrist full of brightly colored bracelets is a bit out of place in the sea of navy and beige suits. (Here's how I wore it last time: http://bit.ly/P8aaqD) So this time around I threw a creme colored sweater over it to turn it into a skirt and tone down the "I just took a bus to work from my tree house in the woods" vibe it gives off.
