Organic Cotton For The Win
Did you know that conventional cotton has earned the title of being the dirtiest crop on earth? It consumes immense amounts of insecticides, releases huge amounts of greenhouse gas into the atmosphere and uses a ridiculous amount of water to produce a simple T-Shirt. (eek!) Whereas organic cotton is grown without harmful chemicals (which leaves the soil, air & water free of contaminates) and many organic cotton growers utilize rain water for irrigation.
