Transitions
My life is in disarray right now.
In December 2021, I packed up my bags and moved from my beloved home in Sacramento to San Diego with my partner and dog. We are still figuring out things right now, and it feels unsettling to be unsettled. I’ve always been one to thrive and do well with a routine, and right now, I don’t have that. There’s a saying that goes something like, “Transitions are necessary. They are what makes you whole again.” In hindsight, I will look back at this time of transition and realize how necessary it truly was. But in the midst of it, it sure is challenging.
