The Thrifty Six Are All Wrapped Up for Winter
What could be better for me than styling a darling vintage coat that belonged to my Mom? The cut is impeccable, as is the luxurious fabric. That’s not why I love it though. Maybe it’s just my imagination but I’m feeling my mom’s scent swirling around me every time I wear it.
And although my mom wore this sometime in the late 50’s, it has a very ‘now’ feel. Then again, isn’t that what great quality pieces should feel like…Timeless. By today’s standards, there’s something androgynous or very tailored about this coat’s cut that makes it totally contemporary. A good cut will do...
