The Little Things
I watched Machine Gun Preacher the other night, which is a movie based off the life of Sam Childers, a former outlaw biker and drug dealer/addict who found religion, built a church, then went on to founding the largest orphanage in Southern Sudan.
Aside from the movie being pretty good (and the real life tale of Sam being larger than life - just Google him), it certainly made me reflective of how truly fortunate my life is as a whole and all the good things I need to remember to be appreciative of every day.
Like being healthy. Having a family I love. A BF soon-to-be husband. The cutest pup of pups. An education. A full-time job that pays me enough that I can...
