Forest to Water

My favorite thing in the world is a forest path that leads to water. If I think back on my childhood, we would walk for a while through a forest and exit upon a small clear lake where then water play could commence. In Australia, my favorite thing in Byron Bay was outside the main city near my hostel: it was a path that winded through greenery and wildlife until it opened up on the expanse of the ocean. And even here, I love walking through the little wooded path that brings us to the pond, or the Humber River.
