A long weekend in Belgium!
One of my favorite things about living in Europe was the opportunity to travel to so many countries! Flights between countries in Europe is like traveling from one state to another in the United States (price varying of course depending on the location, time of year, etc.) Our weekend trips consisted of traveling to different countries – many times only a quick flight or a short drive away.
I had heard great things about Belgium, so I was itching to go. Side note: when you live overseas away from family and friends, you tend to develop fast friendships – the kind where you end up only knowing someone for a year, but feel like you’ve known them...
