visiting mayfield lavender farm Visiting a lavender farm has been on my list for about three years now, and this weekend my mum and I finally took a trip to Mayfield Lavender Farm in Surrey. Let me tell you, it was worth the wait! After a short train journey from Clapham Junction to Purley, and a very bumpy thirty minute bus ride, we walked through a small opening between some trees to be greeted with a sea of lavender as far as the eye could see. We arrived at around 10:15am, an hour and fifteen after opening; the queue was short and the entry fee was an affordable £4 per adult.
