At The Races (Weekend Style)
Last weekend we were invited to the races - some friends from running club are into Ascot and were having a garden party. Drinks, bbq, betting. What could go wrong? Always a fan of theme dressing (but not fancy dress), I dug out my old Anthropologie "Highest Accolades" dress. It pre-dates Elodie - she is 10 this year - and I've not worn it since December 2016 but the good news is it still fits. Comfortably as well. A dress covered in trophys, rosettes and horses heads went down well for an "afternoon at the races". The weather was looking a bit iffy so on went my even older red mac from Next.
