During this conference, students are required to speak about their books in a thoughtful, in-depth, knowledgeable manner. K and I use the conferences to assess a student's reading habits, levels, and stamina. They also allow us to see if a student is "getting" his/her book. Because we are gluttons for punishment, we are going to share the model video we made to help students understand what is expected during a conference....
