Mother’s Day Ideas for the Active Mom
It was about 4 years ago when I had a 2 and 5 year old that my husband woke me up for Mother’s Day and basically said, yeah I haven’t really planned anything and I got you a card. To say that I was annoyed is putting it lightly. Hadn’t I been working full time, doing a ton of the caregiving, cooking and cleaning?! I should be pampered and waited upon for Mother’s Day. Then I said fine, “I’m spending the day outside, BY MYSELF!”
I spent most of the day outside in the beautiful spring Texas weather and it was wonderful. He ended up doing some clean up in our backyard to make it nice for me and I love seeing the kids run...
