The Flower Fields of Carlsbad
To kick off the first day of spring break, my husband and I went to the Flower Fields in Carlsbad. We went to this destination a few years ago but, because it's such a magical experience, I wanted to go back a second time to take in all of the brightly colored blooms of Ranunculus flowers that grow in the fields here. I thought the flowers on my new floral dress looked a little like the Ranunculus flowers and they certainly matched the colors of the flowers here, so it ended up being the ideal frock to wear for the occasion!
