Knitted Dress
I had a bunch of this left over acrylic yarn and wanted to expand my knitting skills. So did I choose to go slowly? No.
I immediately picked an ‘advanced’ level pattern and dived right in relying on the foundation that my Mom taught me to get me through.
Over all, I got what I wanted. I got the confidence, and learned a lot of skills. But I did make a rookie mistake which resulted in my bodice being a bit more fitted than I intended. Also, after the pattern was done it was a lot shorter (again, that rookie mistake), so I added a bottom layer of cabled fabric. And in the end, I actually love my little bottom addition.
