Simple Style
I'm learning a lot here in the south. First, a reflection. Back in Tacoma the weather was icky most of the year. Fifty five degrees and rainy almost every day. At least, that's what it felt like. We had a brief summer where it was just lovely, but that didn't start until mid-July and ended in early September. This caused most people to dress "functionally". Lots of jeans and fleece. I think it also caused more people to give up on style. It also caused people to feel extremely uncomfortable around others who HADN'T given up on style. Nobody likes to feel frumpy, and when you stand in jeans and a fleece next to someone in a dress, you're almost guaranteed...
