Happy Friday! This has been a bizarre and sad week in Texas. The winter storm that came through looked benign at first glance but was not so nice to our state. I feel so bad for those who lost power and water for days (my kids, for one). I do not understand why our grid could not handle the storm, and so many people had rolling blackouts or no power at all. I looked into it a bit and found out that a company called ERCOT manages about 550 energy units across Texas, which powers 90% of the state. ERCOT gained control over the power...
