Snowberries
Yesterday just before lunch, a coworker passed by and suggested I go look outside, not out the window, outside. The horizontal snow was not predicted by any of our apps or websites. So, we stood and watched it and contemplated whether we should be concerned or just carry on. In the end, since none of the apps said otherwise, we decided to carry on, but all the stories of "the children's blizzard" swirled like so many snowflakes in the back of my mind, reminding me that sometimes, in spite of all the evidence, it's better to play it safe and just go home.
