Another Thrifted Alteration
I loved this dress that I got at Common Sort, on sale I might add because it was a ‘Spring’ dress. But of course it was two sizes too big.
So I got out my trusty Brother sewing machine and got to work. Sadly, right near the end my machine metal bits snapped in half! It was a goner. So now, not only did I have to finish up the work by hand, which sucked let me tell you, but I have to start saving up for a new heavy duty and trusty machine. So tell me, should I go Brother or Singer? Or are there other better machines? Keep in mind, I have a low budget (hello thrift clothes). Help a girl out!
