So, a few weeks ago when I broke my old lens, I also managed to misplace my camera remote. Grr. It's not a particularly expensive item, but I refuse to buy another one, determined that it will show up one of these days. Yeah ... one of these days.
Until then, it's been life back with the self-timer. It's way more awkward than I ever remembered. Luckily, once in a while, the stars really do align and I end up with a decent shot. I'm excited about using my new lens, though! Turns out, when you spend a little more, you get a little more (duh!) and the F1.4 has the distance guide on the lens, so I can manually focus based on my distance from the camera. Sounds like...
