High Falls at Bracebridge
Often referred to as the Niagara of the north, this one is truly gorgeous.
It used to be more pristine, but the town’s developments to harness the power now slightly mar the view. It’s beautiful and accessible, hence it’s very busy. But if you’re like me and you get there at 9:30am on a Sunday, you’ll find that you have it all to yourself. With the ability to sit and let the roaring of the Falls and the mist wash over you.
And if so inclined, two other smaller and quainter falls are found in this park: Potts Falls (pictured here below the High Falls) and Little High Falls.
I highly recommend the walk to see them all....
