Summer Road Trip: Fallingwater + Ohiopyle State Park
Derek and I made the drive to Fallingwater while we're spending a few days in Pittsburgh last summer and wow, was it impressive! I didn't really know what to expect but it was easily one of my favorite parts of our road trip last summer. The house, designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, opened to the public in 1964 and with the exception of repairs, has hardly been altered in any way. Walking through the house was essentially like walking through an art museum. There were so many incredible pieces placed throughout the house and the decor was a 50s/60s design dream.
