Homesick

Only one week and two days in Philly and I can already feel homesickness. I guess that's what happens when your hometown is the complete opposite of where you end up at. I miss going for bike rides with Derek all around the back roads by our homes, and feeling safe all the time. So, right now I'm sitting downstairs in the new house, sipping coffee, listening to Trisha Yearwood and blogging, just like mornings at home. One feeling I miss is feeling excited over the fact that Derek would be coming over during some point of the day. I probably won't see him till the end of September or beginning of October, so all I have left to hold onto right now is our phone calls and...
