Happy July! I’m not going to get too heavy here, but I wanted to start off by addressing what’s been going on in Chicago, in America, and around the world this past month. First off, Black lives matter. No buts, no equivocation, no debate - they do, and for too long America has treated them like they don’t. That needs to change, and it’s needed to change for a long time. Anyone with eyes and ears and a heart should have seen this coming. Over this past month I’ve been trying to play my role in this - educating myself, elevating Black voices, protesting, and donating what money I can to support the cause.
