Dressing For The Weather
Have you ever had to scrap your planned outfit because of a sudden change in the weather? As I was changing for work this morning, there was a massive storm cloud on the horizon, so I had to put together an entirely new outfit. First I had to change into these jeans instead of wide-leg pants (so I could put rain pants over them), and these shoes instead of loafers because they’re patent leather and therefore waterproof, and because I’d changed my pants and my shoes, I had to change my top too, and by that time I was running late, so I threw on a T-shirt and blazer and a brooch, for some interest (it’s another of my souvenirs from Russia) and...
