The Children’s War exhibition has been running fo a while at the IWM, and looks at the home front in Britain and the impact of the Second World War through the eyes of the children who lived through it. The 1940s House is one of the most popular parts - it's a recreation of a house of the time, complete with genuine furniture and props.
