The only places where I truly feel home are close to the water or high up a mountain or a tall building. I lived the majority of my life on the banks of St. Lawrence river and moved to Okinawa’s seaside before living in Tokyo, far from any water point. Sometimes, I miss it more that oxygen. Back in October, I finally visited Enoshima to feed my water cravings. Too bad there were more tourist paparazzi than seagulls.
