Every Time I Drink
So since October, I’ve had probably four glasses of wine.
And I enjoyed them, like always. But, I have realized that the after effects: not sleeping well, and just feeling lower energy are really noticeable now. So despite the lovely taste, I’m more recommitted to not drinking, because it makes me feel like crap and I just don’t enjoy myself as I used to.
Anyone else feel like that? I ask because our culture is so situated around drinking, that it often feels like I’m really rocking the boat by declining.
