The new old
I chose this name for this post because of this old looking Medina from Agadir that is not that old. It is a representation of the old Medina that was destroyed by the earthquake in the 60’s and was remade in the ’90 by the Italian architect Coco Polizzi. Many locals say that is isn’t the true Medina and it doesn’t have the real spirit of Agadir, but I think it is a good thing and a nice space. It is always nice when people try bringing back old traditions and architecture. I personally love the combination between the old and the new, the cool and the classy and this place is just that, a work of art in honor of the old Medina. It is not...
