Day to Night

Scrolling through my calendar and I’m equal parts excited and horrified: horrified because the year is almost over (time – where did you go?!) but excited because the holiday season is always filled with so many social events and parties. Years of working in a typical office and I’m pretty confident that I’ve nailed my day to night strategy: add a blazer over a dress and put on some festive lipstick. When I commuted by foot in San Francisco it also meant throwing a pair of heels in my bag so that I could swap them out with my work flats once the cocktails were calling.
