Know Your Girls
October is National Breast Cancer Awareness month. So I am so excited to be able to partner with the Know Your Girls campaign to help raise awareness. When I was in my early thirties I had a scare. I felt a lump in my left breast while I was in the shower. It seemed to have come out of nowhere. After I got dressed I immediately called my doctor and I was able to get in to see her the next day. She felt the lump as well and scheduled me to have some tests done. Let me just tell you it was one of the scariest weeks of my life. The testing and waiting and not knowing. Fortunately for me it turned out to be a benign cyst that eventually went away on its own. ...
